In The Community

At Australian United Brokers, we believe it’s important to give back to the community. So, each year, we provide both personal and financial contribution to a number of charity foundations and organisations.

Korowa Anglican Girls’ School Twilight Fair

We are proud to be a major sponsor of the Korowa Anglican Girls’ School Twilight Fair.

Special Kids

In 2010, Darren Barbary was a participant in the Westpac “Live Your Dream” football event held at the MCG. The financial donation provided by Australian United Brokers will assist in supporting families who face the most challenging times of their lives, whilst caring for a child with a life-threatening illness.

Founded in 1985, Very Special Kids has developed a unique range of services which include: counselling and emotional support for all members of the family, trained family support volunteers, a bereavement support program, sibling programs and family networking activities. Respite and end-of-life care is available to Very Special Kids House, Victoria’s only children’s hospice.

Windermere

Through Windermere, we’re supporting families coping with a disability, family violence, mental illness or financial hardship.

The funds we donated were specifically used to contribute to Therapeutic Counselling, Respite, Occupational & Physical Therapy, Oxygen Tanks, Vibrating Baby Monitor and Pads, Wheelchair, Walker, Home Modifications, Emergency Accomodation & Speech Therapists.

Kinglake Football and Netball Club

As an organising committee member for ‘Containment Lines at Crown’, and in conjunction with the Kinglake Football and Netball Club, and Entertainment Consulting Group, we worked to help rebuild the Kinglake Community.

Together with our financial contribution on the evening, we were successful in raising more than $100,000 for their community.

fashion aid

Through the Fight Cancer Foundation, we’re helping to give hope and save lives. Our sponsorship is directed towards both improving and increasing the availability of accommodation for recovering patients and their families, and to the Foundation’s research fund.

Sponsorship funding provided in 2008 was directed towards improving and increasing the availability of accommodation for recovering patients and their families, and to the Foundation’s research fund.

Through Fashion Aid and the Fred Hollows Foundation, we hepe to help restore sight.

Whilst the Foundation treats people all over the world, our sponsorship contribution in 2008 was directed to benefit the Australian indigenous community.
